East Riddlesden Hall wedding photography | Amy + James
Another one from the archives - this time from East Riddlesden Hall for the wedding od Amy and James - the son of a very old friend - and someone I have been privileged to have seen grow from a boy into a man - and a shared a few interesting evenings along the way !!The whole wedding took place within the grounds of East Riddlesden Hall, a 17th-century manor house in Keighley, West Yorkshire, now owned by the National Trust. The hall was built in 1642 by a wealthy Halifax clothier. And with both Amy and James parents living within 3 miles of the Hall it was the perfect place to hold the wedding. Both Amy and James put an awful lot of thought and effort into the theme of the wedding and didnt want to have a great deal of excessive fuss - very common amongst most of the couples who I shoot these days. Along with a few group shots and some quick bridal portraits of Amy the day went very quickly - and smoothly !Many of their friends are musicians so it was great to hear them all performing in the evening - and made it a real unique experience for everyoneIf you are getting married at East Riddlesden Hall please get in touch to see how I can document your day at this amazing venue. Here are some of my favourite images from the day.east riddlesden hall wedding photography by paul atherton Ⓒ 2014
