Colshaw Hall wedding | Liz + Liam
And so back to one of my favourite venues once again to shoot the Colshaw Hall wedding of Liz and Liam - complete with a vintage Rolls Royce, the Stig, Tunnocks tea cakes and a brand new ceremony room in which Liz and Liam got married. It was the first time I had been back to Colshaw Hall for a little while - and although this is a comparatively new wedding venue they have certainly ploughed a lot into bringing it up to a very high standard not just in the new ceremony room but also in the staff who run this magnificent wedding venue in the heart of Cheshire.Liz wanted to surprise Liam with a wedding car - and chose to do so by having a Stig lookalike ( pretty easy as no-one knows what he looks like !) pick him up and hurtle round the Cheshire countryside on the way to Colshaw Hall. The rather more sedate Rolls Royce driven by her uncle was the perfect wedding car having being superbly restored to its former livery after being painted blue whilst in the States!Liz and her father walked the short distance from the main house at Colshaw Hall to the brand new ceremony building near to the stables which allowed them to take in the full splendour of the venue. After the ceremony a quick selfie outside and then back for the reception and drinks and canapes served in the walled garden. In between the end of the meal and the evening entertainment I provided a photo-booth set up for some fun pictures - cant say Ive photographed too many 92 year olds with oversize glassed and a feather boa before !Anyway, here are a few of my favourite images from their day.
